The Music Ministry
of Vilonia First Baptist Church
Our choir provides music during the
morning service, under the direction of
Josh Bell.
Their goal is to facilitate an
environment of worship.
The choir rehearses Sunday evenings,
before the evening services.
Anthem Sunday What is Anthem Sunday? Anthem Sunday will provide the perfect opportunity for anyone who has ever said "I would love to be in the choir, but..." Some of you are very busy in other ministries of the church and even though you want to sing in the choir, you just can't find the time. I realize that being a choir member is a big commitment, but here is a great chance to join in without a long-term commitement. Anthem Sunday will be every second Sunday of the month starting in April 2008. All you will need to do is come to choir rehearsal at 5:00 PM on the first Sunday of the month. During this rehearsal, we will work on the one Anthem for the next week. On Anthem Sunday, you will help lead the congregation in worship as well as sign the Anthem we've worked on. The first Anthem Sunday song will be "I Can Only Imagine." |
