FBC Children's Ministry

First Baptist Church of Vilonia has Sunday School to provide Bible study, ministry, outreach, and fellowship in a small-group setting, rather than only in the larger congregation on the adult level.  Our Children's Sunday School is organized to meet life needs of all age groups, 2 year-olds through 6th grade, using learning methods appropriate for each developmental level.  We want children to be able to participate in a group which studies the Scriptures in a systematic way, with learning guided by caring teachers.  (See the teacher's names and pictures in the chart below.)

Our goal is to provide a warm environment for every child in which they can learn what God wants them to know from His Word.  A place where every child can look forward to coming to every Sunday and children can make friends with other children as well as their adult teachers.

We want every child to learn what Jesus has done for them and how they can put their trust in Him as their personal Savior.  Then to grow in their spiritual lives as they put into practice what they learn each week.

We ask that you please make sure your children attend Sunday School during this important time in their lives.

The church hour (11:00 to 12:00) each Sunday morning is also geared on the children's level.  Pre-schoolers learn and review the same topic presented in Sunday School.  The two hours combined enables them to have fun times as well as repeat the topic enough to be learned.  Grade school children have a different setting in our KIDZ Zone.  See the KIDZ Church Hour part of the website for more information.
