Men's Ministries

Many men of the church have been active in the Promise Keepers movement and meet regularly in small groups for prayer and Bible study.  Some groups take regular trips for fellowship and recreation.  Men play large roles in our Sunday School program, and other areas such as AWANA, music ministries and the general maintenance of the buildings.

Women's Ministries

The ladies of First Baptist are active in numerous ministries of the church.  One Saturday each quarter, they "Take Time" in order to highlight a few of the ministries of the church, provide inspirational speakers, learn arts and crafts progjects, and, generally give ladies some time to themselves.  They have instituted a "Prayer Chain", in which prayer requests get immediate and thorough attention.  The ladies are also involved in areas such as Sunday School, AWANA, banquets, music ministries, church socials, and special occasions.  Click here to go the the Women's Ministry page of this website.

FBC Book Library

To have good, Christian books available to check out at the church.   Inspiring books are very important to deepen a Christian's faith.  Many insights and blessings can be gained through reading Godly literature.

FBC Video Library

To distribute videos that guild character values and instill in our hearts and minds the qualities of lifestyle that God has for His children.  We offer personal growth videos as well as fun, animated children's videos, among the many choices.

Fifth Sunday Fellowships

To gather quarterly after Sunday evening service for a time of fellowship and snacks.  To provide an opportunity for introduction of new members and special honoring of others (Sunday School teachers, nursery workers, etc.) and a time for encouraging and uplifting our family members in Christ.

Hospitality Ministry

To provide meals to our members when their "cook" is incapacitated due to illness, injury, or hospitalization or when there has been a death in the immediate family.

Prayer Chain Ministry

To provide a framework for passing along immediate, urgent needs of our church family for prayer.

Secret Sisters

To help one another grow in Christ, experience mutual caring, and become more of a part of the FBC family.
